What is BambooCore?

BambooCore is a wood plastic composite reinforced with natural bamboo fibers. Fabrication & Cutting

SurfaceForge wall panels can be fabricated with standard woodworking tools (e.g., circular saws), making them easy to cut, size, and install on-site. Panels are lightweight but rigid, reducing handling issues and minimizing waste.

Installation

Substrate Preparation

Walls must be clean, dry, and level. Suitable substrates include drywall, plywood, and blockwork.

Adhesive Fixing

Apply construction adhesive in vertical beads at 200-300 mm centers. Press panels firmly to the wall and roll for full contact.

Joining System

Panels interlock using aluminum joining strips. Profiles include flat connectors, internal and external corners, and end caps for clean edges.

Curved Applications

Panels can be curved by introducing controlled kerf cuts on the back surface. Cut depth should not exceed two-thirds of panel thickness. This method allows smooth installation on rounded walls and columns.

Finishing

All exposed edges must be finished with aluminum trims. Remove excess adhesive immediately for a seamless appearance.
